equation of motion:
(v=final velocity, u=initial velocity, t=time, ±f=acceleration /retardation).
1. V=u±ft.
2. V^2=u^2±2fs.
3. S=ut±½at^2.
equation of motion of a body under gravity:
1. V=u±gt.
2. V^2=u^2±2gs.
3. H=ut±½gt^2.
equation of motion for a freely falling body:
(u=0)
1. V=gt.
2. V^2=2gh.
3. S=½gt^2.
* maximum height reached by the body thrown up,
h=u^2/2g.
* time of ascent =u/g.
* time of decent =u/g.
* time of flight =2u/g.
this formulas is most important for competitive exam:(rrb,sail,bhel,ntpc,iocl,ofb,psc,ssc).
